Zijie entered the local entertainment scene at just 13, debuting in Mediacorp’s prime-time Chinese drama My School Daze in 2009. His breakthrough came in 2014 with his portrayal of Zhang Jia in Mediacorp Channel 8’s blockbuster The Journey: Tumultuous Times. This role captured the audience’s attention and cemented his place in the industry.
Since then, the Singapore-based Chinese artiste has built an impressive portfolio, appearing in popular and award-winning Singaporean dramas such as Your World in Mine (2022), The Sky is Still Blue (2023) I do, do I? (2023) and If Tomorrow Comes (2024). He also showcased his talent in on-demand series like 2589 Days Apart (2017) and @StarCrossed (2018).
In 2018, Zijie earned a nomination for the Best Newcomer Award at the Star Awards for his outstanding performance in While We Are Young. His versatility as an actor continued to shine, culminating in widespread acclaim for his role as Tian Wei in Your World in Mine, which received rave reviews.
Beyond television, Zijie expanded his artistic repertoire by making his big-screen debut in 2024 as the lead actor in The Chosen One, further showcasing his talent and dedication to the performing arts.
