NoonTalk Media Announces the Commencement of Filming for The Chosen One

SINGAPORE, June 19, 2023 – NoonTalk Media Limited (NoonTalk Media 午言媒体), a Singapore-based media entertainment company specialising in artiste and talent management, multimedia, film and drama production, and event conceptualisation, is pleased to announce that filming has commenced for the movie titled The Chosen One (流氓驱魔师) with a lensing ceremony held on June 18, 2023.

A collaboration with Oak3 Films Pte Ltd (Oak3), the movie will be produced in partnership with Current Pictures Sdn Bhd, a renowned content creation and feature film company in Malaysia. Filming for The Chosen One will primarily occur in Penang, Malaysia, where the state’s rich heritage and well-preserved architectural structures lend vibrancy and significance to the film and the story plot.

This supernatural genre movie, The Chosen One, is based on a true story about a psychic fraudster who undergoes a challenging journey to overcome his inner fears. The storyline is centred on the theme of love and its power to heal and help one overcome obstacles.
