Dasmond Koh  许振荣

Dasmond started his career as a deejay with popular radio station Y.E.S 93.3 before moving on to Mediacorp as a full-time artiste in 2000. Though fairly new to television then, he won the Best Newcomer Award at Singapore’s most prestigious entertainment award ceremony – Star Awards 2000, after starring in the sitcom Soho@Work (2000).

Well-recognised for his hosting skill and wit, Dasmond has hosted a variety of programmes ranging from travelogues to variety shows. He is a popular pick for hosting significant live events and shows such as the Lunar New Year Countdown, Star Awards, Star Search, as well as Renci and NKF Charity shows. In 2012 he co-directed his first film Timeless Love.

Since crossing over to television, he was consistently voted Top 10 Most Popular Male Artistes Award and has clinched his 10^th award at the 2019 Star Awards ceremony, which propels him into the All-Time Favourite Artistes hall of fame. He was also a strong contender for Best Variety Show Host and Best Info-Ed Show Host at past Star Awards ceremonies.

In 2015, Dasmond left the entertainment industry to concentrate on his business entities. Currently, he is engaged to host The Sheng Siong Show together with Kym Ng.
